A few favorites so far from my morning at the Farm!
I have to thank my sister April for getting up with me at dawn to keep me company on the photo shoot- she got some fabulous images as well, including one that I loved so much I had to include it in this post. We had a great time, despite the fact that we were almost run over by a stampede of confused cows and were covered in flies and manure by the time it was all said and done! I also discovered that I’m terribly allergic to field grass (who knew?) Unfortunately for me, I discovered that I love taking photos in the fields! I’m thinking that if I replaced some of these cows with a human or two, I’d have some pretty stunning portraits. No offense to my pasture posers; some of you ladies look pretty stunning as well. For a cow.

Now, I know you probably check this blog to see pictures of humans, but as I was going through the pictures from my Saturday shoot at the farm, I couldn’t bear to keep this one all to myself. Those baby cows are just too cute.

My youngest girl is 9 months old already! We’re really enjoying spending time outside now that the weather is warm. Leah loves to sit in the grass and….eat it. I distracted her from her snack long enough to get these two pictures!
I’m no longer booking Spring Mini-Sessions, but with summertime right around the corner I’m looking forward to some week-day sessions here in Annapolis! Click on the link to my website at the top of the blog for more info.
Next up is a rather unusual session for me~ my subjects aren’t human, but rather bovine! I don’t consider myself an animal or landscape photographer, but I’m happy to make an exception this Saturday when I head out into the pastures and dodge cow patties to document life on the Prigel family farm in Glen Arm, MD!
I had hoped to get my slideshow feature up and running to share these pictures, but I haven’t been able to get it going. So, we’ll share these the simple way!
Emmalyn woke up hungry just as we got her into her daddy’s hands, but we managed to get a shot that didn’t involve too many tears~

Little Emmalyn is the brand new daughter of good friends of mine.
She was a perfect, sleepy little model for me today! I wanted to post a couple pictures tonight (more will be added soon!) for her mommy and daddy to get a little preview of
what’s to come~
