Holiday Mini-Session time!
September 30, 2009
Is everyone else as excited about this nice autumn-y weather as I am?! I’m already planning a bonfire party, making room in the garden for some rust-colored mums, looking forward to some Homecoming football action, and I plan on enjoying my first Starbuck’s pumpkin pie spice latte of the season as soon as possible!
As you begin to dig your scarves and mittens and cocoa mugs out of summer storage, rake your first pile of crunchy leaves, and start to think about the holidays, consider taking advantage of my first-ever Holiday Mini-Sessions!
I’m sharing the details with my Facebook fans first~ I’ll post them here on Friday.
I’d love to have you join the HGP Facebook fan page~ search for Heather Grace Photography or click on the facebook badge at the bottom of the left-hand column on this page.
‘Till Friday~

And Baby Makes Four
September 29, 2009
We thought some stormy weather was going to get in the way of our Saturday session, but the rains held off and we were able to spend plenty of time together in the backyard!
Four-year old B was all smiles for me~ my camera loved him! I have so many pictures of the little guy playing and swinging, but had to narrow them down to this one favorite for Mom and Dad’s sneak peek. And his new little sister E was just adorable. Thanks for a fun afternoon!
The Quiet Times~ Annapolis Maryland Child Photographer

I love it when I catch my girl having a quiet moment. I wonder what she’s thinking about– the toy her little sister is playing with? The comfort she gets from holding her panda? The Sesame Street song playing in her head?
The thumb always finds its way into her mouth during these quiet moments. Oh, how she loves that thumb. The dresses she loves to wear. The hair that is always falling into her face, because she doesn’t like to have clips or ponytails on her head. I’m grateful to grab the camera and document these everyday, common-place little things about my girl at age two and a half~ before long Mr. Panda will be forgotten and the thumb won’t taste as good.
Brothers ~ Annapolis Maryland Child and Family Photographer

Bryce and Bradyn were fabulous models. Not only were they very willing to spend over an hour getting their pictures taken, they also made some posing suggestions and told me that the pictures they pre-viewed on my camera’s LCD screen were “cool”. What more could I ask for?! Thanks for a fun night, guys!
Did I mention that Bryce and Bradyn are my cousins? Not only did I get to have fun with my camera, I also got to visit with some family! My mom and aunt came along for the shoot at Jonas Green Park in Annapolis, as did my husband and two daughters. My youngest took her first steps tonight (I’ve got to take this chance to brag on her!), so last week at the park she was still practicing. The proud momma in me was a little distracted by her during the shoot, and I turned my camera away from Bryce more than once, trying to catch Leah taking that elusive first step…here she is practicing with her daddy and grandmother:
