Going Out of Town…

January 29, 2010

This couple is headed out of town for the weekend to celebrate 4 years of wedded bliss!
Yes, that’s me and my husband in December 2005. I thought it would be fun to share this picture with you all, since we don’t make it on the blog too often.
I won’t be posting my Project 365 pictures until we return, but I will still carry my camera around and take a picture each day to share later…check in on Monday!

Wide Awake! ~ Maryland Newborn Photographer

January 21, 2010

You couldn’t tell from this first picture of sweet little 2-week old E., but this little man was wide awake for most of our time together! If there’s one thing I’ve come to expect with my newborn sessions, it’s that babies who are usually in a deep, coma-like sleep most of the time will usually shock mommy and daddy by staying wide awake when Heather walks through the door:) E. knew something was up, and I can’t blame him for wanting to be conscious for it. I’m glad he was awake for this next shot- look at that precious face~

With some help from his parents and a toasty space heater, little guy did fall asleep for a little while, and we were able to get some good ones~

C. family, thank you for a great afternoon of sweet moments and time spent chatting while coaxing E to sleep. I hope you enjoy this little preview of what’s to come; your gallery will be ready shortly.
(p.s. I love it when I have a chance to visit a bit with the adults in the family… it turns out that this baby’s momma and I went to elementary school and high school together, so here’s a shout out to Joppa View Elementary and Fallston High!)

Starting My Year Off With Some Sweetness! ~ Annapolis Newborn Photographer

January 12, 2010

I’ve been joking that with all the new babies I get to photograph within the next several weeks, there’s a good chance I’d have a bad case of baby fever by March. Well, let’s just say that after meeting sweet little C and her family on Saturday, I’m well on my way!
Thanks to the whole family for a great time in their beautiful home. I was even treated to a yummy french vanilla coffee and playtime with the new big sister. And I call this my job?! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek, your gallery will be ready soon!
