Summertime

I came across this scene while strolling through Berlin, MD a couple weekends ago, and it made me stop and smile. I hope that so far this summer you’ve had the chance to relax in the shade at a table for two with someone you love!
My Camera Couldn’t Resist Her
June 8, 2010
This adorable little girl is the youngest of some very dear friends of mine- she has 4 older brothers and 1 older sister to take care of her. When she arrived at my sister’s graduation party this past weekend, my camera couldn’t resist her…and I’m looking forward to photographing her whole family later this summer!
Sweetheart

This was a very special newborn session for me. Over two years ago, I had the opportunity to shoot sweet little G’s parents’ engagement session. Not long after that, I assisted their talented wedding photographer on the wedding day. And we’ve come full circle, because last week I was honored to photograph baby G, their firstborn! She was such a darling subject; lots of beautiful hair, bright eyes, and she slept peacefully long enough to get the shots we wanted. It was great to see the whole family again! I also have to mention that the mural in the nursery was drawn by the talented daddy, and painted by mom and grandmother…how sweet is that?
