My family just came home from a trip to Tennessee to visit with this little baby girl and her family for Christmas. She’s my newest niece and I’m so thankful we were all able to be together.

My husband works at a school, which means he’s home alllllll week. Together, we’ve been putting away Christmas toys, playing with new Play-Doh with our oldest girl, organizing the attic, eating Christmas cookies, staying up late to watch 24 Season 7 on DVD (we’re hooked!), and taking care of our youngest girl who’s a little under the weather.

On Friday, I get to witness my cousin and her fiance come together as husband and wife, and I’m incredibly excited to see where God leads them in the future, together.

In the midst of all the holiday busy-ness, it’s all the togetherness that has me giving thanks tonight.
