Thankfully I snapped a quick phone photo of the cherry muffins I made for our beach vacation, because in the midst of our preparations I unbelievably took one, and only one, photo for this entire week. I improvised some muffins when I realized that the farmer’s market cherries I purchased wouldn’t last long enough to make it into my dad’s Father’s Day pie!

An explanation: lately, four year old Grace has been tying anything and everything she can get her hands on–
pipecleaners, bead necklaces, yarn, balloon strings, even the tails of her stuffed animals!
Not sure what’s going on in that little head of hers, but she sure is getting creative with her pretend play.

We like the cow hanging by its neck! haha. Aydah tries to tie things together, but doesn’t know how. She just ends up wrapping her string (or whatever) around and around and around until she thinks it’s tight enough.
